For too long I think many residents have taken the happenings of the village for granted. Apathy towards ones civic duty to keep tabs on our local government officials has gone on for too long by too many.

"If it ain't broke, don't fix it!" - we have coasted by too long and let a few small issues grow into bigger ones...

I don't want to come off as a cynic or a pessimist because I was born and raised in this town and I know everyone who lives here loves it here. It truly is a great place to raise a family and god willing I will do the same myself as I get older.

This blog is here to provide an outlet for residents to visit and present their comments and criticism about the village.

Praise for things that were done well - Criticism for things that need to be improved

Most of all - Communication between those who make the decisions... and those who are affected by those decisions...

Many residents don't know that if their is a pothole on your street you can call up the village manager and make a request to have it filled in. (They will add you to their schedule and may not do a good job of giving you a percise time frame of when it will get done... but it will get done...)
